  General Library Rules

  •  Cell phones and other electronics are not to be used in the library.
  •  Food and drink are not allowed in the library.
  •  Work quietly, do not move furniture, and observe other posted rules.


 
Loan Information

     •   Four books may be checked out at one time.

     •   Loan period is two weeks with two renewals allowed.

        Shorter loan periods for reference and graphic novels.

     •   Prompt return is encouraged.

     •   Magazines and newspapers are for library use only.

     •   Student is responsible for all material checked out under their name.

          (Do not share your student number. Do not check out books for others.)

  Library Pass Information

 

     •   A pass is needed to visit the lirbrary during class time.

     •   Passes should be time-stamped upon entering and exiting the library.
     •   Sign in so we can account for  your presence if necessary.

     •   Students are welcome to visit the library before and after school and during lunchtime to do            school work. No pass is necessary during these times, but signing in is still required.

       Library rules must be observed by all patrons.

 

   Copy Machine and Supplies Information

 

     •   A copy machine is available, at 10 cents per copy.

     •   Change for the copy machine is available at the circulation desk.

     •   Posted copyright rules must be followed.

     •   If your report card has all A's and B's you may copy it at no cost.

     •   If you are highlighted in the newspaper you may copy it at no cost.

     •   Index cards, pencils, pens, paper, notebooks are available at a minimal price.

     •   Colored pencils, markers, stapler, tape, etc. are available for your use while working in the            library.

 

   Computer Use and Printing

 

     •   Library computers are for school related work only.

     •   A signed School District Acceptable Use Policy form (AUP) must be on file to use a computer.            Students are held accountable for their actions on the computer.

     •   Students may print three pages free; 10 cents per page after that.

     •   Cite your sources using the helpful bibliography slips available at the desk.

     •   Always shut down your computer before you leave.
