Welcome to the Foothill's
Student Council Web Page

What is Student Council?

Student Council is a service organization; they mainly do school services like planning dances and assemblies, but also services such as paper recycling for the school. They also do a lot of community service like canned food drives, fundraising for charities, reading to children to promote literacy, and promoting drug awareness programs.

What do they do?

The Student Council plans all of the assemblies, all of the Homecoming events, the prom, the Bachelor Auction, spirit days, lunchtime activities, "Pack the Gym", and pep rallies. They also help out whenever the administration needs them like at Open House and Freshman Orientation.

How to become part of the Student Council?

There are elections held once a year for Student Council members. When elections are finished, the winners are elected to office by the student body. The requirements for Student Council members must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and exhibit good behavior. They also must not have any F's and/or U's on their report cards, and they must not have any RPC's or Suspensions.
